Stella Bratimou

I’m a PhD student of sociolinguistics at the Department of “Language and Intercultural Studies”, university of Thessaly, Greece. I hold a BA in “History & Archeology” (University of Athens) and an MA in “Language Education for Refugees and Migrants” (Hellenic Open University). For the last 15 years I have been working as a teacher of History and of Modern/Ancient Greek Language in secondary education. I also work on teacher training programs regarding the educational inclusion of refugee-migrant students. My research interests include linguistic landscape studies, memory studies and critical pedagogy.
