Undergraduate student of the Department of Linguistic and Intercultural Studies of the University of Thessaly. A very dear professor of mine once told me: “You belong to the ‘minority’, and you always will.” At the time, I wasn’t really sure what that meant. Growing up I realized that I was always looking for what others took for granted, finding arguments to support my point without jumping to conclusions, and I was drawn to anything that seemed “different” to others.When our research group was created, on the initiative of our professor Roula Kitsiou, was the moment when I felt that this was what I was looking for. Observing, researching, searching and studying bibliography and then connecting (or not) theory with practice had excited me. When you get to the point of noticing elements in space, which you would otherwise not pay any attention to, and then analyzing whether or not to decode them is a wonderful journey, which you don’t know when or if it will end but still you don’t care because the route is what matters!
