Eva Tsiantou

I am a graduate at the Department of Linguistic and Intercultural Studies, University of Thessaly. My research interests include the fluidity of language, the construction and realization of gender identities, and the queer experience across its spectrum.

After completing my studies, I had the opportunity to participate in the research group, Volos Linguistic Landscape Research Diaries, through which, and with the scientific guidance of Ms. Kitsiou, I came into contact with the linguistic landscape as a research tool, while I became acquainted with the research process through new, collective terms. Within the group, the research is enriched by personal reflections and questions. We deposit a piece of our own identity each time and the result is an amalgamation of all of us.
I love working with my hands, crocheting, embroidering and creating things out of clay. I’m a cinephile (when I have the time for it) and the slowest bookworm in the world.
