I am a graduate of the Department of Language and Intercultural Studies and a member of the Volos Linguistic Landscape Research Group since my third year of studies. During my studies and especially in the courses of “Sociolinguistics”, “Migration and Identities” and “Narrative – Discourse Analysis”, I was given the opportunity to reflect and more and more questions have arisen incessantly regarding the issues of language, identity and space. After joining the research group I was offered the space to express my questions without fear and discuss them with the other members. Although the questions have not stopped arising, we are all evolving together as a group through them and approaching them each from our own unique perspective.
